I don't like vocal bridges.

They usually resolve ambiguities which were attractive in the verses, and they are almost always an unfortunately abrupt departure in mood and tone from the rest of the song, both lyrically and melodically.

This is an interesting article, although I feel like the language used could have been improved by a queer editor; also, there’s a methodological flaw at the end. It reports that ‘gay men have longer, thicker penises on average than straight men,’ which relies implicitly on the assumption that there is such a thing as valid information on average penis size. Not so much. Whoops....
